How to Use Project Settings

Project Settings is where you rename the project, set the budget, manage collaboration, approvals, exports, QR, and project state.

Quick walkthrough

The pencil icon on the project header opens the admin area for that workspace. It is the control room for project-level setup.

  1. Open a project, then click the pencil icon on the project header.
  2. Use the settings sections to update the project name, address, budget, and status.
  3. Open Collaboration to invite members and manage field viewer access.
  4. Use the approvals area if your team needs assigned final approvers or a change-order approver.
  5. Use the export and field QR tools from the same modal when those features are available on the project.

Important details

  • Many settings are owner-only, so non-owners may see less or no edit access here.
  • If you need to mark a project completed, export CSV, or generate a field QR, this is the first place to check.
