How to Rename a Room

Rename a room when the project evolves or a generic template name needs to become more specific.

Quick walkthrough

Room names drive organization across decisions and the Design Board, so clean names pay off later.

  1. Open the project and switch to Design Board.
  2. Find the room card you want to rename.
  3. Use the pencil control on that room card.
  4. Enter the new room name and save it.

Good to know

Important details

  • This is useful when a generic room like Bedroom needs to become Bedroom 2 or Guest room.
  • Renaming keeps the decisions attached to the same room grouping instead of creating a second disconnected space.
