How to Remove Yourself or a Project Member
Owners can remove other members, and non-owners can remove themselves from a shared project.
What this covers
Quick walkthrough
Membership cleanup matters. Outdated access creates noise and risk, especially once the project is further along.
- Open the project and view the team or collaboration area.
- Find the member in the list.
- If you are the owner, use
Removeon the member you want to remove. - If you are not the owner, you can remove yourself from a project you no longer need access to.
Good to know
Important details
- Owners cannot use this flow to remove themselves if they still need to own the project.
- Example projects hide team details and do not behave like normal collaboration workspaces.
