How to Add More Options to a Selection
Compare multiple products side by side inside one decision instead of scattering them across texts or notes.

Quick walkthrough
A strong decision record usually has more than one contender. BuildSelections is built so each option can carry its own cost, link, image, and notes.
- Open the decision you want to edit.
- Use the add-option control inside the decision modal.
- Fill in the option name, vendor, estimated cost, product link, and option notes.
- Repeat for each contender you want the team to compare.
- Save progress to keep the decision open until the final choice is clear.
Good to know
Important details
- You do not lose the earlier options when a new idea comes in, which makes it easier to compare changes over time.
- Declined options can be hidden from the active comparison without being fully deleted.
