How Temporary Field Viewer Access Works

Allow temporary viewer access from a field QR when someone on site needs short-term visibility.

Quick walkthrough

Temporary field access is for moments when someone needs read-only visibility right now but should not become a permanent team member yet.

In Project Settings, enable Allow temporary field viewers from QR.
Share the project QR code.
When a non-member scans the QR and requests access, the project can grant temporary viewer access.
A Homeowner, Contractor, or Designer can later confirm that person as a permanent viewer if needed.

Good to know

The temporary access window is 24 hours by default.
If temporary viewer access is not enabled, non-members will be told to ask the project owner for an invite instead.
